Reuben came out within the hour and was able to have my lock fixed in 10 minutes. Super helpful, very professional, good price. Will definitely use them again!
Not only were they fast and reliable but Ruben was also understanding. We got locked out of our apartment and he got us in within 15 minutes! He was also very understanding about our valuables and money being inside. 10/10 THANK YOU SO MUCH RUBEN!!!
Originally tried a kiosk locksmith and spent nearly 20 bucks on two keys that ended up not even working. Went to Mile High Locksmith and Lolly was able to make me keys that worked in less than 5 minutes for less than half the cost of those kiosks. I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs a spare!!!!
I went in to get my safe open because it had been locked for years and Lolly helped me no problem! She picked the lock in less than a minute and was so helpful and kind. She didn’t even charge me! I highly recommend Mile High Locksmith.
Charlie was very nice and good. I went to get a car key (no buttons). The key was perfect. Charlie did a thorough check before he made me pay, and he even threw in an extra key. I met him at his mobile workshop at a nearby parking lot. It was a friendly and positive experience overall.
Horrible customer service! They had to order key fob for my 2010 Lexus. I was told it would arrive in 3 days. A week later and three inquiry calls with no return calls as told- the key fob arrived. Customer service called and said the tech would arrive at 9:00am. Tech called at 9:30am and said he would arrive in one hour (10:30am). Tech called back at 10:15am stating that customer service had ordered the WRONG key fob! I called customer service AGAIN and asked to speak to a supervisor 3 times before the "customer service" agent said he would have a manager call me back! 30 minutes later "Joe" the supervisor called said he would have his tech go buy the correct key fob and would arrive between 1-2pm. Finally, this is getting resolved! Tech calls me at 12:30 and says he is outside my home. 8 days and over 5 phone calls!! NOT worth the run-around or headache!
Mile High Locksmith is the worst! I had them come out and they attempted to fix my front door lock. The technician then took the "guts" out of my lock and said he would get a new part and call me when he got it. Never heard back and when I called they told me they couldn't get the part, next call asked them to return the part to me (never did) , next call they said the part was to expensive ie $800! I asked them to have management call me x2 but have not received a call back. Would NOT recommend this company to anyone!
Had a key for my pop up camper that was a hard to find blank, and I had experienced several "fails" in duplicating it. Mile High had the blank, and made me two copies quickly. Super service, high quality. Thank you!
Beware customer, beware of this place who prey on people in a tough spot.Called for a simple battery jump and they said 20 min wait and $29 service charge plus the charge for a simple jump..Okay,cool. Over an hour later some dude shows up and spends literally 2 min to jump my battery.Charge...$130.I was floored by this blatant lie so steer clear of this company! .I will be filing compliant with BBB.
Was charged an amount significantly different from and higher than represented on web site. Over a period of three days and 5 phone calls, I have been trying to speak to someone to resolve this issue. However, a “manager” is always busy and promises to return my call. I am still waiting.
I could not remember what locksmith I had used and loved. I had about five in my phone. I have not had good luck with locksmiths so I had hoped this was the one I had liked before. I was wrong. They did come the next morning as I asked. The tech Roy was fine. I paid to have a key made for my key pad; I paid for one re-key; and then I paid for another re-key (two sides of the deadbolt they treated as two separate re-keys). Total for this work and the trip charge $260.00. He gave me two new keys for the key pad; he then would only give me two keys for the double sided deadbolt which he had charged me for two re-keys. Before when I had that deadbolt re-keyed I have always been give 2 keys for each re-key. I asked him for two keys for each re-key as i need to leave one key in the door, one on my keychain, and I need an extra one to keep elsewhere. He just smiled and said no. They don't do that.
This company obviously was not I had before which I was looking for.
I requested service last month, and Mile High sent Simon (not an employee as they sub the work out). While I think he did a good job, I feel totally ripped-off with pricing and understanding my options. I was unfortunately dealing with moving, job challenges, then a family funeral and I just lost track of what he was doing. $1,600 for basically 3 installed electric locks and a couple of handles is outrageous. I could have purchased on Amazon for significantly less and paid a handyman far less for similar work. I honestly do appreciate having a professional do the job and that is why I contacted them, but I feel I was taken advantage of with his pricing. If Simon had mentioned that I had 3 days to return/replace if I wanted, I may have done so. I did follow-up with Mile High, but they never replied. I learned an expensive lesson with them.
Taking advantage of customers that are in a tough spot is not good business. I needed some assistance and they had a tech out in a lityle over an hour. Great, then I was quoted nearly $200 for the service and the tech said it could be more. I told him I needed some help as I was in a tough spot so if he could do the job quicker could he offer a lower price. He said yes. He went to work and got my door open in less than 5 minutes. Then said it'd be $185... The service call was only around $40 so that means he charged an exorbitant hourly rate to do his work. I understand businesses need to make money but this was unacceptable and why I'll be calling someone else in the future if I'm every in this situation again. I did call some other companies after to describ the situation and get their opinions, they said it was an overcharge...
The price was cheaper than other places i had called, so i decided to go with them. I am not too happy with the service i was provided though. When i called the dispatch had told me that i would have to order my fob key and that it would take about 4 days to arrive and that a technician would call me when it arrived to set up an appointment to have it programmed. After the initial call, dispatch kept calling me but were looking for someone by another name and with a different car. After correcting them, I was finally told that my key had arrived and that a tech would be able to come out the same day to program it. About 30 minutes before the scheduled time, dispatch called again and told me that there was no available technician and that they would have to reschedule for the next day. I understood and agreed to have them come the next morning. The next morning comes around and I get call from dispatch telling me that they were unable to come again because they did not have a key cutting machine ( I didn't need to have a key cut because my car uses a fob). Again i agreed to have them cut out the following Monday.
When the technician arrives to meet me, he is very rude. He tells me the price is more than what i was originally quoted and is quick to get defensive when I tell him that wasn't what i was told by dispatch. He very snarkly replied "Dispatch does not know the exact price of jobs. You can either have us do it or you can go the dealership and have them charge a whole lot more." I agree to the price and he is able to program my key and also gave me a jump start.
The technician takes my payment and rushes back to his truck. I stayed behind to make sure that it was properly activated and I notice that the buttons on the fob are not working. He sees me and noticed something is wrong but instead of coming back, he instead uses his finger to gesture that I walk over to his truck to explain what is wrong. After he googled what's wrong, he finally gets off of his truck and attempts to fix it.
I will probably not be using this company again because of the lack of professionalism. I rather pay more money and have my time and myself be respected.
Update: I would like to thank Jessica, who gave me a call to apologize about the situation and rectify. She was very helpful and apologetic about the experience I had in working with the company. She was very genuine. I'm not sure of her position in the company but she should be an example to all about customer service! I give her a five star review for sure!
I had a small keyed safe that I needed open to access some of my important documents for work on Monday. Of course I couldn't find my keys anywhere and it was 6pm on Sunday. I scheduled my appointment online (10% off) for 7pm. I didn't receive a call ~30 min before as listed on the site but after calling the toll free number and inquiring about my appointment, an employee called me back and gave me an accurate arrival time. It took him under 2 minutes to pick the lock on my safe. The bill was $120 for only a couple minutes of work (too high in my opinion) but it was great that they came to me and in such short notice. The man they sent was very polite and worked quickly. The price was steep but you can't beat the convenience and availability.
Updating this review as I have worked through a resolution with the management of this company. We came to a mutually agreed upon solution, and I am happy with the process of that resolution as well as the outcome.
Amir reached out to me to talk through the issues I encountered, and he explained what the normal expectations for the business and employees are, and the mission of the company. I explained the specific reasons I felt that I was wrongfully charged, provided email conversations proving I was incorrectly charged, and we talked through both sides very calmly.
He was extremely friendly and authentic, and I genuinely believe in the values he upholds with his company based on our conversation. Obviously in my case these values were not originally reflected in my experience with my technician and my specific branch of mile high locksmith. After talking with Amir, I trust that he will follow up with the appropriate parties in order to correct the pricing issues in the future. Due to the respect and discussion with Amir, I have changed my rating from 1 star to 3, I don't feel comfortable increasing my rating any higher as I did have to endure a relatively unpleasant experience originally with my technician and with the Denver management of Mile High Locksmith and I don't think that should be overlooked. I am sad I had to resort to writing reviews on social media to get the attention of their HQ, rather than being able to deal with it with my original contact. I'm glad I was able to resolve this by speaking with Amir.
They never got back with me.
We purchased a new townhome, and the front door had a Schlage Sense smartlock -- it includes a keypad and a regular lock and key (just in case). The key had been lost. I called Mile High Locksmith. The dispatcher told me that the service call (to a nearby Denver address) would be $55; their web site says $29. He then stated that the lock is a bit complicated (the keyed part is not), and he would talk to someone and call me right back. I never received a return phone call. I then called Gustov at Alexius Denver's Locksmiths. He arrived in an hour and re-keyed the lock for a nominal charge.
If I could go lower than one star I would. I called and got a quote on a key for my car. When I showed up they try to charge me $100 more. Total bait and switch company. Beware.
I locked my keys in my car on the first night it seriously snowed in Denver and was outside freezing. Mile High Locksmith answered on the first ring and was at my home promptly in 15 minutes. Omar was incredibly kind, speedy and professional. I would highly recommend Mile High Locksmith if you are in a bind!
Mile high locksmith was awesome! Joe helped me in the sticky situation I was in. Someone had taken my coat from a party that had my only car keys inside. My phone was locked inside my car. Even though I couldnt give them an alternative phone number they still helped me out. As he was making me a new key the person who took my coat returned it!!! He then reprogrammed my old key for me for free. Joe was so nice and even charged my dead phone for me while he was fixing me a new key. A really sucky situation and he made it so much less horrible. Thank you Joe!!!
I called this morning and spoke with Tim at dispatch. He was very helpful in resolving my issue with the price discrepancy. He recommended I send an email to corporate (I did). Within ~20 minutes, Tim called back to let me know that I would be receiving a partial refund. I will only have to pay for their standard lockout fee. I am very satisfied with the companies attention to the matter and the professionalism with which it was handled. I would recommend this company in the future. Their willingness to listen to the customer and work towards a resolution that works for both parties shows me that they care about their customers and the services they provide.
Great service best price and very recommended for locksmith and keys need did a great job on my car key
I wanted to get a car key problem fixed and went there. They said that the dealers were ripoffs. My dealer wanted $70. These guys wanted $95!
II needed it done so gave them my phone number. They never bothered to call back.
Not a good experience at all. Getting locked out of your car is nothing but stress, and this company did not help. I was told a $95 dollar price over the phone, but upon arrival the price jumped to $300 because my key needed a chip. I would expect the person over the phone to know that my car may need a chip since it is your job. Mile High Locksmith left me in a predicament where I either paid 20 for them driving to me and not doing anything, 95 for a key that unlocks the car but doesn't start it, or 300 for a working key that the locksmith assured me I couldn't find cheaper anywhere. As a college student, It's hard for me to make big purchases or waste any money, and Mile High Locksmith showed that they only have the intent to take advantage of their customers. However the new locksmith that just left gave me two keys, with chips, and a one year warranty, all cheaper than 300.
Very expensive, was given an initial quote before which seemed high, but I agreed. Then added an additional almost 300$ to the end price when done. I wanted to pay for with a card, but tech said it was too complicated and I wrote a check against my better judgement. I got done what needed to be done, but the cost was exorbitant. I don't understand all the extra charges and feel pretty taken advantage of.
Came in getting a key replacement and they already know what I needed done !! Was quick and easy and save a lot of time running around and looking for any other places
Outstanding customer service! One of the model keys needed to make one of mine was missing, so David gave me the other one I needed for free and then gave me great walking directions to another nearby locksmith.
What can I say other than stellar service!! David hustled out to our rescue on a busy Saturday afternoon and still got to our house within 20 minutes after we first spoke! He was unbelievably polite and well mannered. After he introduced himself he set to making us a new ignition key to our jeep right there in the driveway with his mobile command center ;)
Took only a few minutes and we were back on the road. I would highly recommend David and his team to anyone locked out of their ride or lost keys! These guys are A+ quality
Will call them whenever we are in dire straits
Thanks again David!! Life saver!!
I used them yesterday because I had to get new key on my condo unit and they were absolutely amazing! I sent them an email promptly at 2:00 and they called me within 2 minutes of me submitting that inquiry. They told me that they'd be at my place between 5 and 6 and they got there at 4:55 (I've never had anyone be early so that was SO shocking).
Whenever the guy worked on replacing my lock - he was so polite, helpful and considerate. He explained everything that he was doing and was such a rockstar. I highly recommend using them for any of your lock issues in the future! What a fantastic company.
